How to equip a buddy

  1. Press MANAGE in the hub, select your hero and press Manage.
  2. Open the smiley tab on the left side of the book.
  3. Select the buddy and press Equip. It now appears in the Buddy slot on the right and follows you.

Equipping BMO did not change Finn’s other stats in our test; it added Mark Target on F and the +3% XP bonus. If you equip BMO before talking to Finn, the Buddy Up quest completes straight away.

BMO equipped: the Buddy slot on the right now shows him.
