Ice King strategy (tutorial)
- Clear the penguins first. A wave of penguins comes before the boss; basic attacks and abilities handle them.
- Press Q to dismiss the tutorial banner, then stay close: the Ice King walks towards you after the penguins.
- Stand next to him and attack non-stop, pressing Q and E whenever they come off cooldown. That brought him from 3,000 HP to defeat in under a minute of fighting.
- Don’t chase or dodge constantly. Our first attempt with frequent dodges and walking left Finn stuck at the arena edge with the boss still at 1,916 HP.
When he surrenders (“Augh - fine, FINE, I’m going!”), follow the arrow to free BMO with E.
